Ancient Greek mythology told of a fabulously wealthy land where Jason and the Argonauts stole the Golden Fleece from King Aeetes. The Golden Fleece was believed to preserve health and give immortality by restoring lost youth.
The actual site of the legendary kingdom where the Argonauts found the Golden Fleece is the Colchis region of the Caucasus, through which the River Phasis — currently Rioni River — runs.
In 1938 the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin ordered the country’s best scientists and medical doctors to create the elixir of life and longevity — for himself. A unique Chinese tea bush was chosen as basic raw material for creation of the elixir of life. The Chinese bush was planted in the valley of the Colchis region, exactly on the site where the Greeks found the Golden Fleece.
Years of selection process had finally given results — shortly after the end of the World War II. Stalin got his elixir of life and longevity — the so called Colchis bush, secretly named Stalin Tea. According to the dictator’s doctors the fresh Colchis tea, rich in antioxidants, flavonoids and hundreds of other powerful elements was a miracle compared only to the Golden Fleece. It preserved health and restored lost youth! Since then and until his death, which is now suspected to be of unnatural causes like poisoning by political enemies, the dictator Josef Stalin had drunk the Colchis tea to prolong life.
In 2004, the Danish tea company, Nadin, in cooperation with Russian scientists found the Golden Fleece site in the Colchis region of the Caucasus, where Stalin Tea was still cultivated by the locals who have preserved the secret recipe.

Nadin bought both the recipe and the whole plantation on the site. We decided to preserve the old name of the product created by the dictator’s order — Stalin Tea.
Price: $1,500 US per 1.5 kg (3.3 lb).
Annual consumption: 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) per year would give effective health benefit. Each portion of tea is recommended to be brewed 3-4 times. The cup of tea even becomes better.

Stalin Tea can be brewed 3-4 times without losing its amazing health benefits. Just 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) — a year consumption of this remarkable tea will work miracles for you. Stalin tea is absolutely unique and has no analogues anywhere in the world. As the plantation is very small, the amount of tea produced every year is very scarce — only 4 tons.
